I first visited Blackbrook on an evening in the first week of October, it is located on the Leek to Ashbourne road just after the Windy Ridge Cafe

Blackbrook was established in 1991 by, Mrs Diana Holloway and her son , Mark Rubery.
 It is home to the largest bird collection in the UK. 

The entrance includes a lovely waterfall set in a beautifully prepared garden with a walkway up to the brand new store.
